Paul joined the staff as Ministry Coordinator in January 2005 after serving many years as Lay Leader and teacher of the Confirmation Class.  Trinity is where it all began for Paul with his baptism as a toddler and his formative years as a teenager.  Jesus Christ took hold of Paul at the age of 12 and his life has not been the same since then!  Jesus is not only Savior; He is Lord of Paul's life.  Graduating from Logan High School, he went on to graduate from Asbury College in 1975 with a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Social Work.  While there, he met his lovely wife, Judy.  They were married in 1975 and spent the first 3 years of their marriage in Waterloo, Iowa before moving back to Logan in 1978.  While in Iowa, Paul worked as a social worker for the Salvation Army, assistant manager of a convenience store, insurance salesman and then as Director of Christian Education at Grace United Methodist Church in Waterloo.  Since 1978, Paul's career was with Children's Services in Fairfield and Perry counties as Intake Supervisor as well as a member of the Logan-Hocking board of education for 15 years.  He currently serves on the board for Children's Services in Hocking County.

Paul and Judy are the proud parents of 2 daughters, Valerie and NatalieJudy is a substitute teacher for Logan-Hocking schools and plays keyboard for the church Praise Band.Valerie is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Organizational Communication and is the general manager of the Eddie Bauer Outlet Store in Aurora, Ohio near Geauga Lake.  Her husband, Chris Irwin, is the head band director at GlenOak High School near Canton.  Natalie is a senior at Hillsdale College in Michigan where she is majoring in Music Education.

As Ministry Coordinator, Paul focuses on helping people discover their spiritual gifts along with developing leadership within the church.  Paul believes a gifts-based ministry is the key to effective service for Jesus Christ at Trinity.

Pastor: Brian Davis
briandavis@t-kup.net

Brian Davis is a member of Trinity UMC.  He and wife Teresa live in Laurelville.  Brian is a truck driver for Conway Freight in Lancaster. Brian came to the Lord at age fourteen, but fell away until he was called back in his late twenties. Brian experienced a call in his heart to serve God as a preacher.  Though he ran from this calling for several years, Brian, now at forty five years of age, has surrendered to His calling again.  Brian is currently studying to become a Certified Lay Minister, and is excited by the opportunities that are becoming available to all of us as we serve God in a way that will glorify His name.  Brian’s sixty hour work week will limit the scope of his ministry, but he is committed to God, the ministry team, and the congregations of all four churches. He will do all he can to serve the communities surrounding these four churches; and,  looks forward to seeing what God has in store for all of us.

Charlie Mansfield is excited to join the ministry team.  He has been the pastor of the Longstreth Wesleyan Church in Hocking County for the last 5 ½ years with special emphasis on a mission program for underprivileged children.  Charlie retired from the O.D.N.R. Division of Wildlife after 28 years of service.  His last post was as a Law Enforcement Supervisor/Training Coordinator, but you may remember him as the Hocking County Wildlife Officer where he served for many years.  He is currently employed part-time as an Instructor at Hocking College where he has taught for 23 years in the Ranger Training, Police Science and Public Saftey technologies.  Charlie attended Circleville Bible College until his studies were interrupted by a call to serve his country which included two tours in Viet Nam, earning the Meritorious Unit Citation.  He now plans to continue his education in theology.  He and his wife Susan have 4 children, Charlie Jr., Shylo, Choya, and Mariah and 6 grandchildren (so far).  Charlie enjoys serving God and has a great desire to reach out to the lost in our community.
